“We love working with Cindy because she understands old-world charm with modern ease. Her ability to go from modern to classic, city to country, or American to European makes her a real star. She possesses a true talent in so many areas.

Tommy Hilfiger to New England Home Connecticut

“Cindy decorated three of my homes and did an impeccable job. All three houses are unique and different. One is a western ranch, one is a contemporary mountain home and the third is a more formal traditional home in the Northeast.”

Susan R. in a Houzz Review

“Working with Cindy is always a pleasure. She brings imaginative and fun solutions to our interiors. Cindy’s work is fresh and provides a perfect complement to our classic homes.”

Douglas VanderHorn
Principal Architect at Douglas VanderHorn Architects

“Cindy Rinfret has worked with me on at least 15 different projects. She has amazing taste, she is totally professional and is simply the hardest working decorator in the business. What I admire most about her is that she finds great solutions to problems on the job. She is also an incredible purveyor of antiques and hard-to-find vintage pieces. She is undoubtedly the best decorator in Greenwich and the East Coast.”

ACCOLADES

Speech from The New England Home Design Hall of Fame Awards

“We could say that she’s designed many houses for Tommy Hilfiger, including the penthouse of The Plaza in New York and leave it at that, but with interior designer Cindy Rinfret, we can hardly stop there.

The Greenwich based, University of Copenhagen, and RISD trained designer counts a number of high profile individuals as clients, including Regis Philbin and a host of others who are, by contract, kept confidential, but it’s Cindy’s designs that always take the spotlight.

A stickler for quality and elegance, no detail is left to chance. Her classic look is never cookie cutter. There might be leather crocodile on the walls of one home while another sports the most intricate mirrored details, whether it be in her residential, commercial or hotel designs.

The author of two books on her own work published by Rizzoli, Cindy’s projects have also appeared in Traditional Home, New England Home, Connecticut Cottages and Gardens, People, Harper’s Bazaar, Luxe and others.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that tonight we honor and induct Cindy Rinfret into the New England Home Design Hall of Fame.”
